I should also say (ahem) that before I got distracted by my desire to rant, my first thought was: thanks so much for posting this, and for the promise of more! I'm excited to see this comm more active, especially since I haven't been writing (or reading) as much meta as I'd like. Looking forward to more of this discussion and recsfest!
