Okay, the very best way to wade into the archive at this point is to go over to lwm_archive. Use the timeline tag to read stuff in order. I say this primarily because somehow shatterpath got a backdated entry for one of the chapters of the first book in the comm, which shouldn't happen, but somehow did. So that's out of order there.
That comm goes partway thru the third book in the AU.
I hope you don't have any issues with femslash, BDSM, or OCs... LOL! Tho the individual chapters ARE noted for things like that.
